Most people who buy wii don`t look ahead at the line up, they have very little interest in the games, but they buy the wii due to its innovative way of playing. Even my mom thinks is cool and she never heard of mario.
There has always been people supporting one product over the other, but this console war is on a huge scale. And the luky x360 got the media on its side, and alot of people listens to media. Not using the best best options for the ps3 is fanboysm at its best. Is like they didn`t want to like the ps3, so they gave the x360 the advantage. Many people made a decission after seeing the vids
Every electronic product should be tried at it`s beat performance settings. It works like that with everything else, but not with the ps3? Get outta here, fanbot.
There`s not enough differnce to say who`s better, but it does look incredibly bad on both, but why do i have a feeling that xbots will claim that it looks better on theyr system?

GT5 is sure to kick ass of most driving games, but the ps3 has so few of them that all driving games are welcome untill gt5 arrives.
I own both consoles as well, and i also think that ps3 seem more next gen than the 360. There`s something about the games, it`s hard to put my finger on it but it just has more next gen feel to them. I only own 4 games for the ps3 thou, against 24 for the x360, mainly due to recent aquisition of the ps3. The x360 has let me down many times in 2 years whille the ps3 keeps impressing me with every day. It`s my honest oppinion.

I somehow lost interest with GTA4. Maybe cos of all the hype about MGS4. But now as the release get`s closer the hype for this game is growing stronger again.
Now the real dillema: x360 or ps3; achievements or reliability? Gotta think about that.
This is an extra to what the ps3 can do, and people still moan. Everything that come extra without a fee should be considered as a positive, but some morrons here take it as if this has killed theyr family. Welcome to evolution, bros. And things will evolve further from now on. Maybe even some support from Sony on the matter.
The majority of wii fanbase are nongamers and people who bought the system for its innovations. This kind of people don`t spend much money on software and get bored with the system quite quick. Whille the majority of people are casual gamers, there are a handfull of hardcore gamers, and nintedo left out that field. Wii has no appeal to the hardcore gamers.
Sony is trying to cover all the fields, and MS is more hardcore concetrated. The ps3 will outsell the wii within its 6+ years lifes...

I think you are wrong there, wii does not have replayability. Most of people who bought a wii got bored with it after a month. Wii doesn`t have the leggs to keep people interested in playing it for 2 years or more like the ps3 or x360. Ps3 will be around for 6 years as will x360 for a few years and they will have enough diversity to atract wii owners. I`m talking about exps2 owners who got a wii. There are many people who bought a wii that are not interested in games whatsoever but they were ...
The wii is not competition to 360 or ps3. Every ps2 owner who bought a wii WILL at some point buy a 360 or a ps3. Guaranteed. And the ps3 line up appeals more to the ps2 userbase so i think ps3 will close the gap significantly this year. Most of the exclusives comming for the x360 this year are new and unproven IPs which will have less impact when in direct fight with MGS4 which is well known and a massive franchise within the ps2 userbase.
MS is not droping the x360 price cos they know SONY will follow, and imagine the PS3 sales with an even lower price.
A price drop will have more effect for the ps3 than it would for the x360. And with the ps3 line up plus a price drop, the ps3 will fly off the shelves. And MS knows that.
PS3 is outselling x360 ww so SONY is in no rush dropping the price. They are just waiting for MS to make that move.
And people were saying that when MS cuts x360 price than the ps3 is doomed together with 08 line up. Well lokks like Sony are ready to do another price drop whenever it will be necesary. Things are looking good for Sony in 08, and xbots are starting to run out of things to bash the ps3.
Achievements are great, and for people that don`t like them they`re not an issue, they can still play the same games for the same reason as without achievements. It has been proved with live that achievments give replay value to a game. It`s the reason why i bothered finishing COD4 on highest difficulty. It`s the only reason why i bothered finishing Forza2. And if sony brings them to PSN i will start buying multiplats for the PS3. Untill than i`ll only buy them for the x360.
Well i just bought my 3d x360 in october, and is still loud and scratching cds, just like ones before. And i know for fact that it will rrod as well at some point. How can he say that? He`s lying so he could get the money from idiot like me. Sony lies as well but at least it doesn`t cost the consumer any money.
Well thats all there isn but it don`t need no more for it to sell mills. And is not like Forza2 was different. It was just an improved Forza1, with exception of GFX, which has`t improved to the standards of the next gen racers.
Of course it will be the best racing game. Forza2 and PGR4 are good as well, but for me are just time killers untill the big daddy comes out. Killer GFX, killer physics and online play is all it needs to a best driving game.
PC games are dying, and is no surprise seeing as they look so bad compared to the current gen consoles. They can`t keep up with the GFX, and even when some game like crysis comes out you have to spend thousands to update your pc, so no matter how you look at it, you are better off with the console gaming.
When Sony implements some sort of achievements then i will start buying multiplats for my ps3. Untill than its 360 all the way. The wholle concept of HOME is stunning, no matter who copy who, HOME will be badass.
